    Question..the award letters go to the schools you noted on the FAFSA as having interest in attending, correct? You don’t have to apply to those institutions first do you?

    Hey Natascha! There are no silly questions:). The FAAL is sent to your college bound teen after the school receives their college application and their FAFSA. Some schools send the Acceptance Letter and the FAAL at the same time. Some schools send you word the child has been accepted, and then follow up with the FAAL.
