Don’t Fall In Love With ONE School

First off, why do families place all their hopes on one school?
A. They didn’t visit enough schools
B. The school is the one the child decided on long ago
c. The school has a reputation in the family or community and getting in would mean a lot

But here is why you should NOT hinge everything on one school:

1. If you don’t get in, the devastation is a distraction
2. If they do get in and you can’t afford it, there is pressure to take out massive student loan debt
3. There is no negotiation leverage
